air quality and climate change
Air quality refers to the level of pollutants and contaminants present in the Earth's atmosphere, which can have negative impacts on human health and the environment. Climate change, on the other hand, refers to long-term shifts in global weather patterns, including rising temperatures and more extreme weather events, primarily caused by the increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide. The two are intertwined as air pollutants contribute to climate change, and climate change can also worsen air quality through factors like increased wildfires and the formation of ground-level ozone.
