Association rule learning, also known as market basket analysis, is a data mining technique that identifies relationships or patterns between items in a dataset. It extracts meaningful associations, often in the form of "if-then" rules, from large sets of data to reveal the likelihood of certain items being purchased together or frequently occurring together.
