Autism and co-occurring conditions refer to the presence of other medical or psychiatric disorders that can be found in individuals also diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). These additional conditions can include but are not limited to intellectual disabilities, epilepsy, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and gastrointestinal problems.
