blizzard warning
A "blizzard warning" is a severe weather advisory issued when a blizzard is imminent or expected to occur. It indicates that sustained or frequent gusty winds of 35 miles per hour or more, combined with falling or blowing snow, will significantly reduce visibility, creating extremely dangerous or life-threatening conditions.
