boundary value problems
Boundary value problems are mathematical problems that involve finding a solution to a differential equation within a specified domain, while also satisfying certain conditions at the boundaries of the domain. The solution is determined by the differential equation as well as the boundary conditions, which could be specified at one or more points within the domain. This interaction between the differential equation and the boundary conditions is what characterizes a boundary value problem.
