carbon monoxide (co)
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that is produced when carbon-based fuels, such as gasoline, wood, and natural gas, do not completely burn. It is highly toxic and can be deadly when inhaled in large amounts as it limits the oxygen-carrying capacity of the blood, leading to oxygen deprivation in the body's vital organs.
