cellular automata and computational irreducibility
Cellular automata are mathematical models in which a grid of cells evolves through discrete time steps based on simple rules. Computational irreducibility refers to the phenomenon where the behavior of a complex system, such as a cellular automaton, cannot be accurately predicted or simplified without simulating each step of its evolution.
