control flow integrity (cfi) violations
Control flow integrity (CFI) violations refer to security vulnerabilities in computer programs where an attacker gains unauthorized control over the execution flow of the program. This means that the attacker is able to manipulate the intended path of execution, causing the program to behave in unexpected ways, enabling malicious activities such as code injection or arbitrary code execution.
