debtor-in-possession financing
Debtor-in-possession financing (DIP financing) refers to a type of funding provided to a company that is in bankruptcy proceedings and allows them to continue operating and restructuring their debts under the supervision of the court. It ranks higher in priority compared to other existing debts and is usually secured by the company's assets.
