defined contribution pension plans
Defined contribution pension plans are retirement savings accounts in which employers and employees make regular contributions, usually a percentage of the employee's salary, into an individual investment account. The ultimate payout is determined by the investment performance of the contributions, rather than a predetermined benefit formula.
