Dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized by abnormal protein deposits in the brain, known as Lewy bodies. It is one of the most common types of dementia and causes a decline in cognitive abilities, memory loss, visual hallucinations, and problems with movement and balance.
