dice loss

Dice loss, also known as Sørensen–Dice coefficient or F1-score, is a statistical measurement used to evaluate the similarity between two sets or images. It quantifies the level of overlap between the sets by computing the ratio of twice the intersection to the sum of the sizes of the sets. The dice loss provides a value between 0 (no overlap) and 1 (perfect overlap), where higher values indicate greater similarity.
