discipleship and the great commission
Discipleship refers to the process of learning, following, and emulating the teachings and example of a knowledgeable person or leader, with the aim of personal growth and transformation. The Great Commission, as mentioned in the Bible, specifically in Matthew 28:19-20, is Jesus Christ's commandment to his followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything he has commanded. It is a call to spread the teachings of Jesus and invite others to follow him.
