dll hijacking
DLL hijacking, also known as DLL preloading or DLL sideloading, refers to a vulnerability in software programs that occurs when a malicious actor replaces a legitimate Dynamic Link Library (DLL) with a malicious one. This allows the attacker to execute arbitrary code, gain unauthorized access to sensitive information, or take control of the affected system.
