Environmental injustice is the unequal distribution of environmental hazards and resources, disproportionately affecting marginalized communities. It is the result of systemic discrimination and economic disparities that lead to unequal exposure to pollution, lack of access to clean air and water, and limited involvement in environmental decision-making processes.
