exoplanets and planetary formation
Exoplanets are planets that orbit stars outside of our solar system. Planetary formation refers to the process through which these exoplanets are created and develop, involving the accumulation of dust and gas in a protoplanetary disk around a young star, followed by the formation of planetesimals and eventually fully-formed planets.
