functional neurological disorder
Functional neurological disorder (FND), also known as conversion disorder, is a condition characterized by physical symptoms that resemble a neurological disorder but have no identifiable structural or biochemical abnormality in the nervous system. These symptoms are believed to be caused by psychological or emotional factors rather than underlying organic disease.
