gastroparesis and intestinal obstruction
Gastroparesis is a condition where the stomach is unable to properly empty its contents into the small intestine, leading to delayed stomach emptying. Intestinal obstruction is a blockage that prevents food or liquid from passing through the small intestine. If gastroparesis is left untreated, it can sometimes lead to intestinal obstruction due to the accumulation of food and fluid in the stomach. Both conditions can cause symptoms such as abdominal pain, bloating, and nausea.
