kernel-mode keylogging
Kernel-mode keylogging refers to a type of computer logging technique where a malicious program is able to capture and record keystrokes at the most privileged level of a computer's operating system, known as the kernel. This allows the attacker to potentially capture sensitive information, such as passwords or credit card details, without detection by security software or the user.
Requires login.
