moral agency and responsibility
Moral agency refers to the capacity of an individual to make decisions and act based on a set of ethical principles and values. It implies having the ability to discern between right and wrong and being responsible for one's actions. Moral responsibility, on the other hand, pertains to the obligation an individual has to bear the consequences of their choices and behavior, as well as to fulfill their duties towards others. Together, moral agency and responsibility encompass the individual's power to make ethical decisions and be held accountable for their moral actions.
