multifractals
Multifractals are complex geometric patterns or structures that exhibit different degrees of irregularity or variability at different scales or levels of detail. Unlike regular fractals, which exhibit self-similarity, multifractals show varying degrees of self-similarity and display multiple fractal dimensions within the same structure. They are used to study and quantify complex systems with irregularities and variations at different scales, such as natural landscapes, financial markets, and biological systems.
