noether's theorem
Noether's theorem states that for every continuous symmetry in a physical system, there is a corresponding conservation law. In other words, if a physical system remains unchanged under certain transformations (such as translations in space or time), there will be a conserved quantity associated with that symmetry (such as conservation of energy or momentum).
