ntp amplification attacks
NTP amplification attacks refer to cyberattacks that exploit the Network Time Protocol (NTP) to amplify the amount of malicious traffic being sent to a targeted computer or network. This occurs by using a small input request to generate a significantly larger response from the NTP server, overwhelming the target with an excessive amount of data and potentially causing disruption or denial of service.
