ransomware-as-a-service
Ransomware-as-a-service refers to a business model in which cybercriminals offer ransomware tools and infrastructure to other individuals or groups for a fee. It allows non-technical criminals to easily launch and distribute ransomware attacks by providing them with pre-built malicious software, payment systems, support, and often a share of the profits.
