Raster graphics, also known as bitmap images, are digital images composed of a grid of tiny dots or pixels. Each pixel in a raster image carries specific color information, allowing the image to be displayed on digital screens or printed on paper. Unlike vector graphics that use mathematical equations to define shapes and lines, raster graphics are resolution-dependent and can become pixelated when enlarged beyond their original size.
