ratcheting forward secrecy
Ratcheting forward secrecy is a cryptographic technique that ensures secure communication by constantly updating encryption keys used for each session. It provides protection by generating unique keys for every conversation, making it harder for an attacker to decrypt the stored conversations if the keys are compromised.
