riemann mapping theorem
The Riemann mapping theorem states that any simply connected open subset of the complex plane, other than the whole plane itself, can be conformally mapped onto the unit disk in the complex plane. This theorem establishes a fundamental relationship between the geometry of complex functions and their domains, allowing for the study and manipulation of complex functions in a more systematic way.
