special theory of relativity
The special theory of relativity is a scientific theory formulated by Albert Einstein that explains how the laws of physics are the same for all observers, regardless of their constant velocity. It describes phenomena in which time, space, and momentum are relative, and the speed of light in a vacuum is constant and the maximum attainable speed.
