On the other hand, augmented reality overlays digital content onto the real world. AR enhances our perception of reality by adding virtual elements such as images, videos, or 3D objects directly onto our physical environment. Instead of immersing users completely, AR enriches real-world experiences by blending virtual elements seamlessly into our surroundings. This technology is usually accessed through smartphones or AR glasses, allowing users to see and interact with both virtual and real-world elements simultaneously. In summary, VR replaces the real world with a simulated one, whereas AR enhances the real world by incorporating virtual elements into it.
