Cultural assimilation and integration refer to the process of incorporating individuals or groups from diverse cultural backgrounds into a dominant culture. Assimilation involves adopting the customs, values, and traditions of the dominant culture, while integration involves maintaining aspects of one's own culture while also participating in and contributing to the dominant culture.
