Guru Gobind Singh was the tenth and last Sikh Guru. He played a significant role in shaping and defending Sikhism as a distinct religion, promoting the principles of equality and selfless service. He established the Khalsa, a community of baptized Sikhs, and actively fought against injustice and tyranny during his lifetime.
