holocaust denial and genocide denial
Holocaust denial is the unfounded and outright denial or distortion of the historical reality and scope of the systematic genocide of approximately six million Jews and millions of other innocent victims by Nazi Germany during World War II. It involves the rejection of established historical facts, evidence, and documentation regarding the Holocaust. Genocide denial, on the other hand, refers to the denial or minimizing of genocidal acts that have occurred throughout history. It involves the negation or distortion of documented evidence and facts about various genocides, including the Holocaust, Armenian genocide, Rwandan genocide, and others. It is an attempt to erase, downplay, or manipulate the atrocities committed during such mass killings.
