phase 1 of atkins diet
Phase 1 of the Atkins diet, also known as the induction phase, is the initial stage where carbohydrate intake is drastically reduced to induce a metabolic state called ketosis. During this phase, individuals consume primarily protein, healthy fats, and low-carb vegetables while avoiding high-carb foods. The purpose of phase 1 is to reset the body's metabolism and kickstart weight loss.
