remote access tools (rats)
Remote access tools (RATs) are software programs or applications that enable users to access and control a remote computer or device from a separate location over a network or the internet. They provide the ability to remotely administer systems, troubleshoot issues, transfer files, and perform various tasks, usually with the consent and knowledge of the remote user. However, RATs can also be exploited by malicious actors to gain unauthorized access and compromise the security and privacy of the targeted device.
