Time reversal symmetry refers to a property of physical laws, stating that the fundamental processes occurring within the universe would behave the same if time were to flow in the opposite direction. In other words, if we could reverse time, all the events and interactions taking place would still appear plausible and consistent based on the fundamental laws of nature. On the other hand, the arrow of time refers to the observed asymmetry in the progression of events. It signifies the concept that time appears to have a preferred direction, where events tend to unfold in a particular order from past to future. This notion of an arrow of time is deeply ingrained in our everyday experience and the macroscopic world, characterized by the irreversible nature of many physical processes, such as the melting of ice cubes or the aging of organisms.
