time reversal symmetry and black holes
Time reversal symmetry is a fundamental principle that states the laws of physics remain unchanged if the direction of time is reversed. However, black holes challenge this symmetry as they violate it in certain aspects. Due to their extremely strong gravitational force, black holes can cause severe time dilation and distort the flow of time. This means that if time were to reverse within a black hole, it would not resemble the reverse of events outside the black hole, breaking the symmetry of time reversal.
