carbohydrate quality and diabetes risk
"Carbohydrate quality refers to the type and source of carbohydrates consumed in a diet, whereas diabetes risk relates to the likelihood of developing diabetes. Studies have shown that consuming carbohydrates from whole grains, fruits, and vegetables, which are considered high-quality carbohydrates, can lower the risk of diabetes, while consuming refined carbohydrates and sugary foods, which are low-quality carbohydrates, may increase the risk."
