attention and consciousness
Attention refers to the mental process of selectively focusing on certain stimuli or information at any given moment. It involves directing cognitive resources to enhance perception and processing of the chosen stimuli. Consciousness, on the other hand, is a broader concept encompassing an individual's overall awareness and subjective experience of the world. It represents the state of being awake and aware of one's surroundings, thoughts, feelings, and sensations. It includes the ability to process information, make decisions, and form intentions.
