perception and consciousness
Perception refers to the process of experiencing and interpreting sensory information from the surrounding environment, including sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell. It involves the brain's ability to organize and make sense of these sensations, enabling us to understand the world around us. Consciousness, on the other hand, refers to our awareness of ourselves and the external world. It encompasses our thoughts, feelings, sensations, and the ability to introspectively reflect upon them. It is the subjective experience of being alive and aware, as well as having a sense of identity and self.
