perception and attention
Perception refers to the process of interpreting and making sense of sensory information received from our environment. It involves recognizing and organizing the information in a meaningful way to understand and respond to the stimuli. Attention, on the other hand, is the ability to focus and selectively process a specific stimulus or information while filtering out other irrelevant stimuli. It allows us to prioritize and allocate mental resources to the relevant aspects of our environment or internal thoughts.
