cultural relativism and gender norms
Cultural relativism is the belief that cultural practices and beliefs should be understood and judged within the context of that specific culture, rather than being evaluated according to one's own cultural standards. Gender norms, on the other hand, refer to culturally constructed expectations and behaviors that are considered appropriate for individuals based on their gender identity within a particular society.
