sleep deprivation and prediabetes
Sleep deprivation refers to the condition of not getting enough sleep, which can be either partial or total. It occurs when a person consistently fails to meet their adequate sleep requirements. Prediabetes is a precursor to diabetes, a chronic health condition characterized by high blood sugar levels. It refers to a condition in which blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not high enough to be classified as type 2 diabetes. People with prediabetes are at a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes if not managed properly.
