The War of Granada was a conflict that took place between the Kingdom of Castile and the last Islamic state in Spain, the Emirate of Granada, from 1482 to 1492. It marked the final stage in the Christian Reconquista of the Iberian Peninsula and resulted in the fall of Granada and the end of Islamic rule in Spain.
